1 (14.5 ounce) can chickpeas (garbanzo beans), drained
2 rounded TBSP sesame seed paste. Sometimes called tahini paste and found in both dairy and dry specialty foods sections.
1 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
2 tsp Blazing Blends Southwest Chile© spice rub
1 clove garlic, crushed
salt to taste
juice from 1/2 lemon
Pita bread wedges for dipping; grilled or toasted.
Combine all ingredients in food processor bowl and grind into a smooth paste.
