Ribs

Start with some baby backs. The night before you cook them, apply one of out 4 Blazing Blends©.  Try our $1.99 sample pack.  Anyone of the flavors will be fine. Remember, there's no sugar, just pure flavor, so little goes a long way. One whole bottle of Blazing Blends© spice rub can season about 12 racks. Don't forget a little salt right before you are ready to cook.

If you do like sweet ribs, mix 2 TBSP of brown sugar with 3 TBSP of any spice blend.  This is enough for an entire rack.

To cook:

1 - Grill for about an hour over 325F direct heat. Then over 500F for a few minutes to add a nice dark color. If you choose this method, you may want to boil the ribs the night before for 15 minutes or so. This helps the muscle tissue break down, become tender and fall away from the bones.  Nicely cooked ribs don't crumble off the bones; they softly pull away when you bite into them.

OR...

2 - Smoke or slow cook in your oven at about 200-225F for 4 - 6 hours.

Even if you don't have a smoker grill or smoking box in your grill, the chipotle and other seasonings will create a nice smoky taste.
